Snake Line Terms

Program

A free volunteer snake relocation service in Northeast Florida. Members of the public text the snake line to report a snake. The report goes to the organizer and to registered volunteers, and a volunteer replies about that report. Volunteers who join the team receive dispatch texts about new reports.

How you opt in

Members of the public opt in by texting the snake line first, as shown on our snake line page; we reply only about that report. Volunteers opt in on our join page by entering their mobile number and ticking a box agreeing to receive dispatch texts.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. The service is free; we never charge you.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation and no further texts unless you reply START. Reply HELP for help, or text (904) 895-7773.

No guarantee

Volunteers respond when they are available. For a snakebite or any emergency, call 911. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
